That should be fine with what you have. I recently purchased a Bulldog and took it to the range this weekend and had a great time with this gun. I was shooting Hornady 160 gr and PMC 180 gr rounds. It was surprisingly accurate with the 180 gr rounds. From what I have heard others say, the Bulldog's sweet spot is within the 180-200gr 44 SPL loads.

I load for the .44 Special as well as the .44 Magnum, for the .44 Special I prefer the 200 grain flat nose in my older Bulldog for accuracy, using Bullseye powder near the starting load, with a standard large pistol primer. Easy on the hand as well as very accurate out to 15 yards with the 3" barrel. I've used much hotter loads in that revolver but for just shooting paper, I and it prefer the much lighter loads.

Owned 2 of those and they make really nice ccw weapons due to their size and low weight.
I carried 200gr Speer gold dots when ccw and for range use shot 180-200gr. It does prefer lighter loads and is actually quite accurate with them to be a snubby plus it keeps recoil very very managable.
44 special and magnum is what got me into reloading due to being expensive and not very abundant but it is by far my favorite calibers.
