A friend showed me a beautiful blue 4" with what must be Pachmayr Presentation grips, wow I see why it is a popular gun, he remembered his dad hitting anything he aimed at, its in 38 Spl and the action is very smooth double or single .
The gun is easily a 9 out of 10 closer to 10 you can barely see any marks on the cylinder , he pulled it out of a padded zipper pouch and it was wrapped in a oil cloth , had been in it since his fathers death about 16 years ago and he just found it yesterday, thought it had disappeared sure made his day.
He thought his wife could carry it but I have talked him into buying another lighter one for her, the grips are too big anyway .
Will get a chance to shoot it can't wait :)

The Model 15 Combat Masterpiece was the first gun I carried as a new LEO. I agree with your assessment of it. I carried it for about 5 years until I could afford the 6" Colt Trooper MKIII, and recently gave it to my daughter for protection.......robin

Love the Model 15. Mine is a 15-2 that I scored off of GunBroker a few years ago for less than $350. It was wearing the pictured combat stocks too. These are really wonderful old guns from a different era. Everybody in the family loves to shoot the Model 15.

I'll play ... here's my Mod 15 (no dash) .... looks and works like new. In my opinion, Mod 15s are the best 38 Special revolvers ever made by any company.
