I have a chance to pick one up new in box, at a good deal.
The one with Williams fiber optic sights & 6-1/2" barrel. Model 08150 SS
It would be for range fun, what's the vote on these?
I ABSOLUTELY love mine. If you can get a good deal on it I would say go for it.
I carry mine everywhere when I'm home around the farm.

I like my Colt Peacemaker Buntline. Very accurate and will also shoot the 22 mag.

My latest 22 caliber revolver has never fired a 22 lr round. I love the 22 mag though.

My favorite,

Ruger , single six convertable. 6.5 barrel. I have owned (3) in the past 32 years. All bought new. The first two are now owned by our boys, who love em.

IMO, that revolver is a must in any Ruger hunting revolver collection.

you know, the single 6 cylinder always seemed odd to me all that metal n only 6 teeny chambers.
my single 10 just seems right in the balance of metal to chambers.

as to quality machinery tho, my S&W model 15, built in 1980 beats any new gun, of any maker. it's a pleasure to work with, when i can afford the ammo..

My favorite is a Smith & Wesson Model 18-3. All the panache and mystique of an old P&R Smith, yet it's one I don't hesitate to carry in the field or put hundreds of rounds through in a range session.

My beautiful unconverted three screw 6.5" Super Single Six Convertible. She's so pretty she needed mother of pearl grips for extra bling.

Taurus Tracker 992. It's my only .22 revolver currently so by default that makes it my favorite. Nine shot, 6.5 inch barrel, came with both LR and magnum cylinders. I got it for varmint control because I liked the flexibility of using anything from CB shorts to WMRs depending on target.
