Only owned two: A single six I had for near thirty years that I sold like a fool. My current one, a S&W 617 with a red dot sight, I've had since the late 1980"s.

My stainless 5.5bbl single six convertible. Handed down to me from my father, made in 1979. It is one incredibly accurate gun.

Life time keeper.

Thanks for the great replies and pics. Plenty of votes for single sixes. Great to see that!

My 1990 Royal Blue Smith & Wesson 6" Model 17 Full Target. It was one of the very first Model 17 'Full Lug' revolvers produced....

M18 "four screw" Smith and Wesson, acquired in 1963. Belongs to my daughter now. Carry and shoot a Smith and Wesson Airweight Kit Gun, Model 43. It's my "country carry gun" for daily use. Luv it!

The most accurate .22lr I have is a 6.5" SS Single-Six, which was my first handgun acquisition back in 1992...but my 4" SP101 (older, 6-shot model) is my favorite one to take to the range...it holds it's own as far as accuracy goes too!
