How many Carry Full size Auto's?

I see a lot of posts where full size Auto's are too big for Concealed Carry. How many carry a Full Size Auto for your primary carry weapon? I carry either a Ruger P90 or P97 year around and don't have any problem. I just dress around the gun. Of course I'm an old fart and dress don't matter that much to me.

I carry a Commander size 1911 except for the three or four months of warm weather. Not a problem under a flannel shirt or coat. I have a good gun belt and holster that holds it tight behind the hip.

No problem!

I have often carried a Browning HiPower with no difficulty. It is my favorite pistol.
Over the years, I have also occaisionally carried a 45 1911, and even a Beretta 92FS.

I'm more of a revolver guy these days and my primary carries are a 3" GP100 and a 2.25" SP101. There are times though, like today, that I felt like carrying the P345.

My Browning HiPower really carries well...it is very thin. I carry it in a Don Hume clip-on holster IWB in the crossdraw position, and it is just about like I am carrying nothing.

CZ75B in Comp-Tac IWB holster @ ~4 o'clock. Disappears under an un-tucked, unbuttoned Wrangler cowboy shirt, over either a T-short or regular buttoned shirt. Extra mag in left back pocket (should get a mag carrier but too much on my belt). Beltman belt - makes all the difference.

I don't work for Comp-Tac or Beltman, just a satisfied customer (and generally hard to please).

Regards,
Andrew

I'd need a winter coat to conceal a full size on my frame.

Guess this is a good a place as any... I need a good "gun belt" I just ordered a crossbreed holster but still need a decent belt for it and my pancake OWB holsters.

Recommendations (off topic i know, but seems pointless for a whole thread).

And winter coats for full carry i just rock under armor pull overs or coats

A mistake a lot of people make is spending a lot for a good gun and then trying to carry with a cheap holster and belt. I tried the cheap rigs and they just don't work like the good ones. I recommend that if anyone wants to carry all the time, to go ahead and spend the money to get a good belt and holster. It will make carrying more enjoyable and therefore you will carry all the time instead of just when you think you might need it.

You have any personal recommendations on belt companys Calvin? I have heard of about 50 different ones, right now I am just using a super think and wide Tommy Hilfiger dress belt since I work in a business casual/business attire company I still try to carry here so the belt I have works decent... for now, but its not great.

And today I am carrying a P89 without any issues, have it riding in a pancake holster at the 430 with my company polo over the top of it and Elsie in my pocket.

This is where I get my Belts made and I wear them every day. They outwear several belts that you buy in a store. http://www.rowesleather.com/
