I ended up letting my impulses get the better of me last night and picked up a 1911... Not a SCG but a very nice little pistol. ![]() Glade's Gun Works 1911 in .45 acp. The pistol has a hard chrome finish, beveled magazine well, a painted front sight, Wichita adjustable rear sight, extended safety and magazine release, and a match hammer and sear. This pistol is built off of a Caspian slide, frame and barrel. This is DEFINITELY my last pistol purchase for a while... ![]()

That shows my ocd! I went from being happy with my little collection to a les baer monolith heavyweight with no front cocking serrations, wide safeties. It should be here soon. Truth is, I've loved the monolith for a long time, upon seeing the pics on another forum, I freaked! We'll see how she does. Nothing like "thinking" I'll be debt free this year, then I go and peg my card hehehe! Oh well, one life! ![]() http://www.lesbaer.com/Monolith.html Have a look see, details and pics. I bought two SR9c's, and love them so much I plan on 4 more...only thing to make me change from that will be the SR45 or SR45c, or a 10mm model P90.(hey, I can dream can't I?)

No problem, I've posted it somewhere before I think...I bought the Stainless and Black, traded a SR9 with awful trigger and compacts triggers are like night and day from fullsize gun...anyway, it shot so good, felt so good in hand and I only have guns for defense, nothing else...So, those two are for me to carry one or two as needed, remember, second gun is quickest reload...then, one for each car (2 cars) and 2 for placement around house in drawers, in different parts of house...common ammo, common mags, common holsters, etc. I have a dedicated house gun already for now, a Glock 20SF 10mm, but eventually, it will be replaced by hopefully a SR45 or SR45c!

Sounds like a good way to lose a gun and put it into the hands of someone who should not have it. Just my opinion though and maybe that is not what you plan on doing.

I heard that car guns can be bad in a Southern state. If the ammo gets very hot in the car in the summer it can cause changes to the powder and cause abnormally high pressures when the ammo is fired. I don't know what the threshold temperature is, or even if that's all BS... but I heard it.
