Favorite 9mm ? That would be a toss up between my Browning High power and my CZ75B. Love the feel of the HP just a little better, but the 75B's trigger gets the edge.
Both are 100% reliable and very accurate if I do my part.

GONRA's "breech locking reference collection" has 35 9mm Parabellum's.
Many were shot a LOT ("well broken in MilSurp") before I got them back in the "good olde days".
Most are reliable and shoot Just Fine. (Lugers are finicky though...)
"9mm" is a great auto pistol caliber. (Almost as good as .45ACP!)

Probably the most accurate was an early Walther P88 followed by a Browning Hi-power. The Ruger P89DC would be next and that is the one I kept since it was the most comfortable to shoot and it is my wife's favorite too. I have carried a KT PF9 for many years but it is not a favorite shooter. LOL I'd have to have 3 mags for the PF9 to exceed what the P89 carries in one (18).
All were about equal in the reliability department.

I would have to go with my modified Beretta 92FS Police Special.

Second place would be the Browning Hi-power. The Hi-Power grip is just a bit small for my moderately large hand though, and I don't like the magazine safety.

Third place would probably go to the H&K VP9 which I had occasion to shoot as a rental gun at a local range.

Honorable mention goes to my little Beretta mini-Cougar DAO.

Pistols I have not shot and am a little afraid to are the CZ-75 and the Walther PPQ.

I have heard many positive comments about the Taurus PT92.

Why are you afraid to shoot the CZ75?

Just because it will result in you wanting to buy 2 or 3 of them is nothing to fear. :D

My preference in my guns is as follows:

Browning High Power Bought new in 84 for $250.

Sig 226

SR-9c

CZ 75B

Springfield RO 1911

Beretta M9A1

My .40 versions are Sig 226, SR-40c and CZ 75B

The SR's are my only poly guns. I rate my guns on how they feel in my hand. I wouldn't mind finding a BHP in .40.

I've tried a few 9mm: M&P9, Glock 17, CZ75, P07 Duty, Beretta 92 and PAMAS (the French under-license built Beretta 92), PX4, Jericho, MAC50 (the only 9mm single-stack I tried, but very nice gun and awful combat gun), P210, P228, FSP9 (the European name of the VP9) and of course my ex-USP and my current P30.

The one I prefer is obisouly the P30 (I was about to get a SFP9 and I finally changed my mind for a SA/DA than a strikerfire)

Both SIG were great too, I really liked P228
