My favourite easy shooting acurately 1 Citadel fs 1911 9mm. 2 gen 2 Glock 17. 3 Canik tp9sa. The 1911 feels best in hand and is a pleasure to shoot ergos second to none imo. Smallest groups at 15-20 yds by far. Plus I like the feel of an all steel pistol.

My Beretta 92FS is the most accurate 9mm in my arsenal, and the easiest to shoot.
Of the 9mm pistols I have fired the Beretta M9 is tops
I've shot sigs, glocks, S&W MP's, P series pistols, I like them all. But I love my Beretta 92FS Police Special. It is super accurate, and after I did a little modification to her, she is crazy accurate.

I call it, "The Professional"

I can't answer this question yet as I just bought two more 9 mm hand guns and haven't fire them. I have had a 92fs for years, it's quality and accurate. I can't stand the trigger though, it has a lot of slop but shoots well. I just bought two used 9 mm, a Ruger P 89 LE trade in, and a Smith and Wesson 6906. All though I'm not crazy about the slide release and take down on the 6906 it has an awesome trigger for the type, double single semi auto. I can't say it's the best until I shoot it though. I'll report back after I go to the range. I do like the P89. It has a lot of play in its trigger like the 92 but at least I can tell when it's going to break unlike the 92.

Call me 'old school' but this is still my favorite 9mm...:D

Finally after I have gone to the range I would happily say the Smith and Wesson 6906 is by far my favorite 9 mm to shoot period! Double action trigger is a bit heavy but the single action is awesome! I wish they never made the M&P series and kept making the third gen pistols. My third gen rocks anyhow! Metal guns for ever!

Wow a real Luger! I must of missed that when I first read though this post a few days ago. I was talking to my friend about them at dinner because someone at the table said they wanted to buy one one day. My friend, who is a good gun smith, said you pretty much have to hand load Lugers because they were designed for black powder 9mm. I didn't know if that is true or not but he said modern 9mm ammo is too powerful for them. Wasn't sure if that was true or not.

I have a Gen II Glock 19 which I really like and I've owned and shot several others including Glock 26, Kahr PM-9, Sig P-226, Springfield XD-M 3.8 9mm (wife's), Ruger SP101 9mm 3"!

I am currently working on a deal for a Ruger P-93 DAO, which should be here shortly...I'm sort of looking forward to that one as I really like my Ruger P-97 DAO in .45 acp!

Favorite and best

My favorite to pack (every day) is a Shield 9. Have two W/Night sites.
Best shooter > My Sig 320 Compact. Keep weapon light w/laser on it in
a bedside Sticky Mount. Remove weapon light/w laser for open carry out in the
desert.
Have a Ruger LC 9s Pro. Nice but not hand filling for me. Mostly
my wife's purse carry.

Favorite 9mm

Up until abour a month ago, I would have said my Sig 226. I bought a Wilson Combat Beretta Brigadier in 9mm and it is hands down, the finest 9mm I have fired, and I have shot a bunch of them. Carried an SR9 for a long time and really liked it but kept going back to the Sig. Now, I can't keep my hands off the Beretta.

Hands down the LC9S. The new striker fired was a real game changer. I love the SR9C but there is so much fun in shooting a sub-compact. The slim cool looks of the the LC9S combined with the great quick accuracy at close ranges makes this for one fun day. I love everything about this pistol.

I have only been a wheel-gun shooter for over 30 years. But, I recently picked up a Springfield XDM 4.5" in 9mm. I have to say that this is the first semi-automatic pistol that I actually enjoyed shooting. I went to the range a couple of days ago and shot the XDM for the second time. I am still getting used to the feel of a semi-automatic pistol, but I am starting to get the hang of it.

I am really liking my XDM, but will probably never like it more than revolvers - which I just shoot better :)

Newbie on 9mm but want one

Sir,

I hope this finds you well? I have wanted a 9mm for some time. But just do not want a new caliber "to feed." The caliber is so much less expensive to shoot, if you shoot a lot and know you will never do the reloading thing.

I have a good friend who has a Hi Point c9. We shoot together about 3 or 4 times a year. The c9 is his wife's. So it was my thought to see if I could shoot hers. I wanted to make some sort of decision as to if I would like to buy a 9mm. I also wanted to put to death some of those awful thoughts I had about the Hi Point brand.

I shot her c9. And it was great; a little heavy, a lot ugly. But boy what a good shooter. So I had just about decided to get one. I mean really, less than $200 out the door. And they are built like tanks. And they are guaranteed forever. How can you loose?

But then a bum thing happened. I went shooting with another friend. He bought one of the Colt Snakes uses recently for a song. He told me where he had purchased it. Also told me they had a bunch of Colts security guard trade ins they had acquired. So when I left there I went by the LGS. Lo and behold they had a Colt Police Positive Special 38 Special with a 4" barrel for sale for $200. It is a beater and old but a Colt no less. You know the end of the story already. Brought the Colt home.

Still wanting one of those Hi Point c9's just because.

Go figure. So we will wait and see how this one ends. I think we all know how it may end? :D

Thanks,

r
