Your opinion , all around best 9mm

Of the 3 9mm pistols I own, my M&P 9 is my favorite to shoot at the range. Had a buddy of mine stipple the grip and back strap, reworked an old Millet style adjustable sight to fit, put an M&P Pro fiber optic front sight on, then found a good deal on an Apex forward set sear trigger kit.

Another favourite, but not as accurate as my CZ75B.

Gorgeous 92 James. An Italian Stallion. I WANT ! ;)
We are rowing the same boat James. I have had and carried Beretta 92's for 25+ years. I have high regard and great love, and will always have a couple 92's on hand. I'm relatively new to CZ 75, we have had a Rami "D" and a PCR "D" for about a year. . But I can hold tighter groups with my CZ"s, which I also now carry in rotation. The Rami is the wifes, and she can keyhole the target @ 15.
My 75D compact PCR is awesome @ 25 yards, and the new 75BD that I bought last Friday, put 15 out of 16 in the bull @ 50 yards, right out of the box. I will no doubt be carrying the 75BD in rotation after I get about 500 rounds ran through it.
The 92 and 75, what can you say,,,
They go bang every time, and for me, are exceptionally accurate.
I love them both. Firearm Gun Trigger Air gun Airsoft gun

I've got Glocks and Sigs, but for some reason I like the Ruger P Series guns more. It's probably just because I've had them the longest and because they make a good choice when paired with the Ruger PC9 carbines I own.

Of all of them I have owned and shoot: Sig West German 228 and Sig 226 DAK. The grips fit my hands. Fast to aim and shoot. Both will shoot any ammo I have tried without complaints. The 226 DAK trigger took some getting used to and lots of practice to master. Very fast, accurate double tap. Whatever you choose, practice and drills make the difference IMHO.

SIG 226 Tac OPS, though NOT as it came ! Needed sights that did not have it shooting 6" low at 20 yards , ( yes, I know how to shoot, and found that I'm not the first or only buyer to have had such a problem ), and the grips ( with their built in MagWell feature) did not have the gun pointing well for me. A set of Hogue's ALIUMINUM grips had it fitting me much better, at added cost.
For pure target style accuracy- Dan Wesson PM9
For everyday carry- Glocks ( 26 and/or 17 )

Several years ago, one of my gun shop buddies got in a big stack of mid-70's Star BM's (in the original cardboard boxes, with the cleaning tools and Spanish manuals). These were JMB designed 4" barrel compacts that were issued to the police officers in Spain, and the ones he had all still carried their share of dirt and dust from Spain. I spent at least an hour disassembling and inspecting about a dozen of them to choose one to take home. Most of them had a tiny bit of holster wear, but very little sign they had been shot. I found one with significant holster wear and obvious signs of quite a few rounds through the tube and gladly walked out with it for his base price of $150 or so. Several of my buddies followed me the next day or so and picked out the "pristine" ones. My Star BM was an absolute tack driver, and as reliable as anything on the range. The others were "ok", but couldn't hold a candle to my hand picked pistol. Three or four years later I had another shop offer me an even trade for some other NIB pistol tagged at $300 or so, and I had a weak moment and made the trade. Still kicking myself. Parts were already getting hard to find, but that's no excuse :(

Best- That wierd French PA-15 I used to own, made entirely of forged steel, VERY accurate, but mags and recoil springs are unobtanium, so I sold it. Very solid gun.

Best I have now- CZ85b , eats anything, very accurate.

Favorite- P89 stainless DAO, a little less accurate then the CZ, but it's a tank, and probably the last 9mm I'll ever need.

I've made no bones about the fact that I am a Boberg enthusiast, so it is no surprise I name my Boberg XR9-L my favorite 9mm to shoot. The shorty XR9-S is more concealable, but the long just edges it out for favorite shooting 9. The little extra length makes a world of difference as many of you out there know.

Until recently, the only semi-auto pistols I owned are my Mark II and my Springfield Armory 1911 .45acp. Love the SA 1911. Durable, reliable, and I shoot a 1911 well.

Wanted a good gun for the nightstand and when I travel. Figured a 9mm would be the ticket. I have shot my brother's Glock 19, and while it is an excellent gun, I also need a gun that I like the looks of. For me, the Glocks just don't appeal to me solely based on looks.

I always liked the Ruger P series, but they never felt good in my hand and the few I shot I didn't shoot well.

However, my brother and nephews have a collection of Springfield Armory XDM pistols, ranging from 9mm to .45acp. I liked they way the felt in my hand and I could shoot them well.

So based on my shooting of the Glocks, Rugers, and Springfield Armory 9mm, I got a Springfield Armory XDX 3.8 9mm. I really like that gun for the relatively short time I've had it.

Ok, brand snobs..get ready to flame me...but first...I have a beautiful High Power and a CZ 75b so I know what a quality 9mm is...most accurate and reliable 9mm I own is a well used Taurus 92AFS polished stainless "pimp gun" that is all stock..I never had a semi that shoots that well..had a guy I shoot with at the range giving me the raspberries about having the good stuff in my bag and playing with the junk...cost him lunch and he really tried to buy the Taurus...I have no idea why it's such a shooter but it is...I have never had one jam, failure, hiccup, belch or snort out of this thing...shoots anything I put in it including some really funny hand loads from time to time.....I'm as surprised as anyone.
