Favorite of Best

Favourite is something personal and emotions are involved. The ones that shoot best I have to divide into accuracy class and speed class but for me quality and finish are also important besides pure functionality.

I have owned or shot most 9mm Parabellum pistols out there, in some of their forms. Lately a service size model always has a compact and sub-compact version and it is getting hard to keep up with that.

When it comes to accuracy, ergonomics, and quality, the Swiss P210-6 shines brighter than anything else I encountered.

For fast & furious shooting a low bore axis is important and trigger time. I shot so many tens of thousands of rounds through Glocks that a modified G23 with a 9mm barrel is my choice for that niche and that gun is accurate, too, even with hard cast bullets!

Having only recently got back into 9mm handguns, I do have a favorite to shoot.

and a best shooting...

In practical terms they're both pretty well matched.

The 1911 is a bit smoother, and the VP is very easy to shoot fast.

Dyed in the wool CZ fan where semi's are concerned..my 75B is a tank...the OP didn't mention "which 9mm" so I'll also have to say my 2 Makarov pistols in 9x18 are wicked accurate and I don't think you can harm them...but they are not 9mm Lugars.

I also have a Tarus 92 AFC that is one of thebest shooting 9mm's I've ever shot...and it just never misses or jams..not as "ergonomic" as my CZ's but it's a dandy...I have never owned a bad Taurus but some have...I have never owned a bad CZ , period!

The two best for me are the two I still have and use.
1. Glock 34. The only Glock I've owned I felt was the equal in accuracy of a custom level 1911.
2. Ruger American Pistol 9mm. I love this gun so much that if Ruger will come out with a long slide version of it then I'll sell that Glock 34. I feel it would be that accurate.

I have to admit that among my 9mm pistols, it's a tie as to my favorite for firing- my Ruger P-95 DC and my CZ 75 P01.

Of the 9mm Luger pistols I own, my favorite would have to be my Beretta 92FS but my SIG-Sauer P320 compact is a close second.

Some of the very nice 9mms I have shot over the years include the following:

SAO: Browning Hi-Power, any good model 1911 chambered in 9mm.

DA/SA: SIG-Sauer P226, 229, 239, CZ 75B, Walther P99.

Striker-fired action: SIG-Sauer P320, HK VP9.

Don't much care for Glocks.
