I can't recommend the NOS Trapper "Bullseye" spring kits for the Six enough. I prefer my revolvers with stock weight springs, but I bought a used Speed Six that someone had already dropped in some kind of aftermarket springs, or the stock springs were just very "tired", but trigger reset was sluggish. I tried to wrestle in a stock OEM return spring, I gave up after an hour and the spring was ruined in the process. The Bullseye kit made the Six so much smoother, and the trigger return isn't even that much noticeably less "snappy" than my stock 1988 production Six. I don't know how lighter springs can feel the same as a stock set, but feel 10 times slicker, but it just does somehow. |
