Just picked up a Ruger M77 MKII V/T .223 Stainless Bull Barreled.Manufactured in 1992. Was curious what the rate of twist is on this one and best varmint round for Coyotes out of it. Thanks
I found that Hornady Vmax was very accurate. Was able to get 1/2 to 3/8 Inch
groupes with my Ruger VT bought new in mid 2008. It had 1:12 twist. Tried just about every ammo. Rem. Win. Fed and Hornady was what the rifle liked. I don't reload. Good luck. and have fun . Just bought the same rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor, should have it ready to go this spring.
