Need recommendation for front sight for my Ruger 77/44.
I think the hiviz will make a big difference.
I might also change the back sight to a peep hole.
I just got this rifle and took it to the range today. Very nice and it didn't have too much kick to it.
Really had fun with it today!

Front sight:
Marble Arms - The Leader in Iron Gun Sights

Once you figure out which one you specifically want, or lder it from Brownell's or whomever.

Best rear aperture/peep sight ever:
Barrel Mount

Buy directly from manufacturer.

I have one of each (replacement Marbles gold bead front sight and the stainless steel Skinner rear aperture sight) on my 77/357 and am utterly pleased with both them and the rifle!

That's great news about being able to use the original front sight I would like to get one of the skinner fibre optick front sights they come in different heights do you happen to know what hight the original Ruger front sight is so I can get the correct one
Thanks Karl.

Just fitted my skinner peep to my 77/44 it fitted finger tight no need to use any force
but not a sloppy fit like the Hiviz rear sight I tried before seams fine after I tightened the locking screw I cant wait to try it at the range I hope I wont have to change the front sight great product great service very happy

Any pictures of replacement sights? I have to say, personally, I hate the gold bead/white diamond rifle sights Ruger seems to use. I have a hard time using them, and the gold blends in with everything outdoors.

Also:

Very nice and it didn't have too much kick to it.
What were you shooting through it, or what are you comparing it to? I was surprised by how rowdy the rifle is, considering it's a pistol-caliber. It's not objectionable, but I expected it to be pretty mild.
