My two Ruger P-Series pistols.

Ruger P90DC----bought it in 1992 brand new. Still one of my favorite shooting pistols!

Ruger P89DC----just picked this up a week ago! Needs some attention to make it a twin to my P90.

I love them both!

Nice...congrats on a nice pair of P-series pistols!

I wish I could figure out how to load pics of my P-93 DAO...I've tried following the directions but it never 'takes'...and I've never had an issue with uploading anything before!

.... How about some love for the P345?
I think its a good one as well.
RR ... I would wholeheartedly agree. Despite the early "Click-no-bang" issue that got the P345 off to a rough start, after Ruger's design adjustment and the notice not to dryfire without the magazine in place, the P345 has turned out to be a fine pistol IMHO. Mine had 2 fail to feeds during the 1st 50 rounds (break in) and has been perfect in the thousands of rounds that followed. Here is a picture of mine with its stable mate and some typical targets :)

Thank you!!

I had seen two of these already....but the prices were way too high. The gunbroker.com link was worth exploring....but they say my account has been closed. (probably because I've never ever used it!:p )

More picture goodness.....post polishing!:

You should do a write up on how it was done.

Your P90DC SN is not far off from mine :)

priell3 ... My P95 was also my 1st carry back in 2004 and was followed by the P345 in 2006. I still carry them for old times sake upon rare occasion :)

P89 9mm/30Luger

Recently joined the P89 club with this dual barrel special edition (5000 made in 1994). Love to shoot the pistol especially in 30 Luger caliber for which I already handload (Luger 1920 Commercial pistol in my avatar). WB

I would really like to get my hands on one of the P series in 40. I had one of the very first P85s, got it in a special LEO offering and wish I'd held onto the little tank. I've always wondered if the P series 40 might not be the perfect 40 in terms of indestructibility and heft.

I have been lucky and have picked up a few of the P series at great prices.

The P85 in 9mm a few weeks ago and just recently a P91 in 40 s&w. Just waiting on it to be delivered to my FFL guy ... My P944 in 40 s&w DA/SA is a great shooter. I also have a P944 in 40 s&w DAO is a good shooter but not a terrific range gun because of the constant hard pull. But bench it and she is spot on!

Does the P944 handle the 40 recoil better the polymer guns? Or have you had a chance to compare?
Hell yeah! I had a Glock 22 which is a full size gun but weighs next to nothing compared to the Ruger P944. I sold the Glock because I hated the recoil/ muzzle flip. ( I kept my 9mm Glock which handles really well.)
I like the Ruger , it is heavy, but with a good handle on it, it is accurate, and will soak up the recoil better. Add a hogue rubber grip and you'll appreciate how much better you will shoot.

I picked up a P90 from a pawn shop out on the left coast for a very good price (it had some wear and tear). Took it to a gunsmith and had it stripped down and cerakoted to hide the abuse it took. That gun is by far the best shooter I have. I love it and it gets alot of ooooooohhhh and aaaaaaaahhhh's at the range.

My P series love..

Here is my battalion of p series pistols.
P85, 89, 89, 90, 91, 93, 94, 95, 97, 345. Only ones missing is the p89x, and p89 in 9x21 export variant. I also own a second p95 blued not pictured that the wife commandeered. Figured the picture belongs here as well. Fine pistols.

My P91DC was the first handgun I bought for myself. I bought it from a friend just after i returned from Desert Storm, and I still have it. My EDC since 2011 has been an SR1911, but the P91 is my travel gun. It always seems to be the one I carry on road trips.
