Interesting - I jumped on it given the excellent price....then just did a quick review and found A LOT of Ruger folks complaining about this ammo in the SR22....but there were also some that swore it was great. Hoping it is great......
Don't know about the SR22 but it is fine in both my 10/22's and my M&P22 pistol. The M&P tends to be fussy too. Guess it likes this stuff cause I have put half a box thru it without problems.
My LGS got in the "bucket of bullets". 1400 rounds of 22lr ammo per bucket at $75 a bucket. He received 50 or more buckets with his first shipment and as many again for his second. Each shipment was sold out in two days. Too bad I don't own a 22lr weapon. I thought of buying one to keep for future trade in case we ever have another ammo crises, but realized that was part of the thinking that got us into the problem in the first place.
I have in my personal stash about 4 thousand rounds of mostly Remington and Winchester .22 LR's. A summer gathering is planned at the Hunting Camp in two weeks and I plan on taking 500 rounds on the trip as fodder for my Single Six and my ancient MKI. I'll bring some .38 Special reloads for my 686, a box of 9MM's for my P95 and a box of .40 Smiths for my Beretta. Some In-Line shooting is planned and my Old Army will certainly get a workout. Hopefully,an out of the way Country Store will have some ammo of some kind. Wishful thinking I know.
