Thanks Guys....starting to feel all warm and fuzzy....Did finally get a call back from Ruger about ammo pressures…On the New Ruger Vaquero = any factory loads….except buffalo ammo, corbon or +P ammo (in .45colt)
And for $150.00 to $180.00(total includes shipping the firearm to & from) they will make a cylinder for .45acp or .45 Colt for any SA revolver(depends on what I can find) they wouldn’t be able to start making them until June 2013
So the hunt is now on for a SA in SS (Blackhawk or Birds Head grip) with a short barrel (3” to 4”) and it doesn’t have to be a convertible model either would be nice to find one that is but it can be a single caliber only also.
