| Hi all.
New ruger owner from CT. Just picked my first ruger and first firearm. I know im getting in at a bad time but i did start this process before it got bad. Any ways, i picked up an all black sr9c. Havent gotten to the range yet, but i did give it a cleaning. No fmj really to be found around here, hopefully i can get my hands on some soon and get this thing broken in! Anything with this particular model i should know about, look out for or upgrade? Thanks.
Ken

Ken | Welcome, I took took up the sport in January because the hullabaloo over gun control woke me up to my 2nd ammendment rights. I love shooting now and own a 22 target pistol (cheapest to shoot a lot), Ruger SR9 and a 357 magnum revolver.
Here in PA good indoor ranges sell rounds for you to shoot there. Also be kind to yourself because it ain't like on TV, I found it is quite a challenge being accurate with my SR9.
