has anyone seen an sr1911 available and in a shop's case? | I just bought one from Gander Mountain this past Friday. They had four of them and I got the last one. I didnt want to buy it there since their price was on the high side but I called all the LGS and none of them had one. I figured I should get it while I could. Quote:

Have either of you been able to find any ammo local at a decent price? I found a SR1911, now I need to find some ammo for it.

If you are looking for FMJ try walmart.
Back in January(the month i was told i should have my sr1911) i bought some in the w.b. store but then decided i should get some more because a new gun will require lots of test firing. I had to go up to pittston and buy the last 2 boxes that they had as well.
check their website it will tell you if it's in stock. It is an accurate count; pittston went from limited stock to sold out after i walked out the door and checked the status on my phone.
$42 and some change for WWB #100.

I just started calling shops up that way and talked to one of the guys there this afternoon. Got my name on their list too, so somebody around here has to get one in.

Thanks for the tip on checking their website. They showed the 250 FMJ bulk pack in stock and sure enough they had one left at just under $110 with tax. I was just there on Saturday and they had nothing. FYI your local walmart shows them in stock as well.
If I come across another SR1911 I will pm you.
