| Back on the Forum in NW Oregon
I must admit, this feels like home.
My first personally owned handgun was a Ruger Super Single Six Convertible with a 6.5" barrel which I was given for Christmas of 1966 by my parents just before I turned 15. I've been a 'Ruger guy' ever since. An old Marine sergeant with whom I worked in Arizona, and a real gunny, once stated (about Ruger products), "You can pay more, but you can't get any better". I own a LOT of guns of a lot of different makes, some major and some rather obscure, but I seem to keep going back to Ruger (I'm most likely going to add yet one more in the near future!).
