USN Veteran, south LA born and raised, now live in CT? Bought my first Ruger, a 10/22, in 1968 for $45. Been slowly adding over the years, never any trouble with any of them. Impossible not to be a fan. Also have some Marlin, Remington, Browning, Mauser, Mosin....
