Thanks for the hospitality. Ive never been to the south island but i really want to, the hunting, fishing, diving seems millions of times better then where i live.

The post above me ?? lol | as beautiful as the north island is, so, too, is the south island only almost completely different. south island reminds me in some ways of growing up here in the states in the pacific northwest. north island reminds me more central and northern california coasts. can you really go wrong with either!? hell of a country! haere mai.

Welcome Kiwi. Wife and I enjoyed a couple of weeks in Aukland and traveling the north island and then three more weeks roaming the south island. Great fun driving 'on the wrong side of the road'!
What a great country! Best Lamb and venison I ever ate (and I butchered my own white tails in Pa. years ago that were delicious) and most cordial folks who always asked if we were on holiday. Wonderful land and people.
