Hi,
In August for my 46th birthday, I bought a Sr22 pistol. This is the very first gun I have ever had and am enjoying it. I hope to move up to a 9mm in the Spring. I have found out that I need to really work on my trigger pull.

Before you get the 9mm & I suggest an SR9c, you need to move to MO so you can escape the strictest gun laws in the land.

Hi Clint - Welcome from SW Florida. If it's any consolation there are others here who suffer the injustices of living in Illinois (and CA and NJ and...) Enjoy your SR22 - looks like a great pistol.

I have an SR22p and it is a fun gun to shoot. Get your shooting skills honed with it and you will enjoy your 9mm that much more.
