Hello fellow Ruger owners. I am new here to the forum . Currently I residing in Las Vegas Nevada . This is where I have found my love for guns.i purchased my first hand gun last year (Bersa 9mm sub-compact thunder ) it's a very well made gun for the price(350.00 new). I just recently traded my browning a-5 for a SBH NEW MODEL 44 magnum with a 9" barrel. I friggin love it . Has a mounted fixed scope and is accurate as all hell.well the fun didn't last. While shooting with my buddy he appeared to have a miss fire. After close inspection I found that the plate between the hammer and firing pin had broken. Does anyone know where I can get the part ordered and what the parts correct term is? I would appreciate any direction.
Another thing is I was givin I believe to be a 1878 colt double action frontier 45 cal. Revolver with a 41/2" barrel . It has rust and pitting. The plunger is missing and the cylinder has allot of slop In it ailing with missing the front sight and a piece of the handle on . One side. The serial #s are 8358 and do match In two locations.i think it's stainless or maybe was once nickel . Anyways just thought I would throw that out their and see what you all thought. Thanks for having me a lied I look forward to reading your replies .
Cheers!

Welcome to the forum from LasVegas to divisce & Sseadog44 . Great place to hang out. Some real great people here. divisce as you can see by my stickers I have both an SR9 and an SR1911. Keep looking for the SR1911 you never know when one will show up. When I got mine I just happened to be at the LGS's range shooting when I came out my buddy was looking at Kimbers and the salesman just happened to say I've got couple of SR1911's in. Out came Amex and blue card left with one. I'd been looking for one for over a year. That was the first one I ever saw in person. Worth the wait. Sweet sweet gun. Someone posted they've got 10,000 trouble free rds thru his.
