Welcome GWAMPO to RF from SF,CA! I also have a 10/22 and relatively new to shooting myself. Have had it for a couple months shot over 1200 rounds in 2 months. I would recommend spending some $ on trigger job, auto bolt release, and bolt buffer as first upgrades. You won't be disappointed!
