It's funny this topic came up. Without realizing it was happening, one day it dawned on me that 7 of the 10 guns I own are Rugers! I wasn't planning on buying mostly Rugers but wound up with the guns I like.

I agree with JK55, once you own a Ruger, more of them follow you home. Collecting them and shooting them at the range is too much fun.

We all started with "ONE" Ruger...and little by little more seemed to join the "Firstborn".
For me it was a standard wood-stock 10-22..Then another, this time a laminate-international 10-22, then a Mini-30, Then a 44 mag carbine, now a model 77/44 is on the way. I want a thumbhole stock for it soon.
My Ruger Flattop Blackhawk Chrome-plated 44 magnum sits by itself, surrounded by 'green with envy' Taurus and Charter SS revolvers . |
