| Hello from Dallas!
I'm an owner of the 10/22 Takedown. It's my second rifle, the first being an FAL .308. I posted some questions at the FAL Files Forum, and they came up with the answer to my questions. Buy a 22 LR and learn how to shoot it before you try and tackle an FAL. And the ammo is dirt cheap. So this was all I needed to hear. 
I also have a Ruger P95. Although it had some problems when I got it, Ruger fixed and so now it's a great pistol and I love it.
My other guns are:
Kimber Custom CDP II
Kimber Ultra TLE II
S&W 686+ .357
