| Hello from Indiana
Bob Here
Just found this forum surfing for info on loads for a new purchase that should be in my hands Friday.
A 4" 45 LC Redhawk
Other Rugers in the house are
3 LCPs and a 10/22
I am an avid deer and turkey hunter and plan on using the Redhawk for deer as a primary weapon and a backup for my 458 Socom.
I am planning on loading Hornady XTPs with H110 and CCI 350 primers.
I load for the socom with the H110 and primers so it makes sense to give them a try for the Redhawk.
Any reccomendations on a starting load would be appreciated.
I may give FTX's a shot also.
Good Hunting
Bob

Bob...Welcome to RF.net from NE Indiana! I'm over by the Fort!
I, too, have been liking the .45 Colt round...and have been shooting it through an Alaskan! However, I do want one of those 4" Ruger Redhawks in .45lc.
Congrats on the purchase and hope you enjoy!
