welcome from nevada! i'm sure you'll develop your own ideas about that next most urgent purchase, but fear not-- should you have doubts, folks here will happily tell you about the next hundred or so that you should really consider (next hundred being the short list). ;-) enjoy the forum and your ruger!

Welcome from soggy SW Florida. The GP-100 is a great Ruger revolver - my first Ruger was a GP-100 6". Be careful - one thing leads to another! Have more Rugers than I care to admit now plus a few others I like a lot too. My 2 cents on future Rugers would be SR40 or SR40C and the SR1911 is a real gem if you want a pistol. A 22LR is always a lot of fun, cheap ammo and great practice. Perhaps an SR22? Enjoy the forums - lots of good stuff here.

Welcome to the forum from another pretty new guy and new gun owner. Mine is a SR9c, I love it. I am also thinking about my next purchase, I think in the coming months I will be walking out of my local shop with a nice Ruger 10/22 takedown.

Welcome to the forum from Phoenix! A GP100 is a nice revolver. Good choice! If you're near a range, often times they'll have rentals. It's a great way to explore different types of guns before you buy.
