| New sr40c guy in WA
Hey fellas, just picked up my new sr40c about a month ago and love it! I've got about 970rds through it right now using various cheap range ammo and haven't had a single hiccup yet!
On Thursday the 16th I ordered the Galloway grip overlays and the AL striker indicator. Today the 20th I received and installed them! The overlays seem pretty nice, and feel somewhat tacky so they should handle well. The striker indicator also appears to be machined very nicely and installed in minutes. I'm anxious to get back to the range now! Future mods will likely include more Galloway trigger pieces and a more visible set of sites. I plan to CC this weapon frequently as well as play time on the range.
Look forward to contributing to the forums!
-Chris

Welcome from SW Florida. The SR40C is a good 'un. My first choice for concealed carry when I can (trying the LCR in the pocket when I can't carry the SR40C.) Will have to check out the Galloway stuff you mentioned.

I had heard nothing but good things about Galloway for various forums so I had to check it out. He seems to make quality pieces for both the sr9's and 40's. Quote:

Where abouts in WA are you? I'm about 30 miles north of Seattle. I've been looking for places to shoot outdoors to practice various "tactical" shooting situations that would likely be considered non range friendly.

Welcome from Central Fl.
I Love my SR9c but carry LC9 and LCP during the warm months. I look forward to carrying the SR9c when I pull out the colder weather clothes.
I must say that I have not had any reason to modify my SR9c, It has performed perfectly though 600 rounds.

I also have not had any real reason to modify my sr but I enjoy modding everything I own, cars, bikes, guns etc ; unless of course it affects reliability or the ability to perform well!
