Just wanted to say hi, new here don't have a ruger yet have 3 S&W'S. Looking to buy a .44 mag would like a SA/DA, any thoughts on the one to buy, it will be a rang gun for the most part, would like 6 or 8 " barel.

Welcome from SW Florida. Take a look at the Redhawk & Super Redhawk. I've shot them and they are nice. Ruger revolvers can be hard to find in some places. I have a S&W 629 w/6" barrel that is a real pleasure to shoot. You might keep that one in mind too.
