| Hello from Louisiana
Just getting back into shooting. I used to have a S & W model 66, a Thompson Contender with a couple of barrels, and a Ruger Mk II SS 5.5" Target. I sold them all. The only one I really regret selling is the Ruger! So I recently purchased a Mk II 22/45 5.5" SS Target. Of course it shoots great and I've been having fun getting back into the sport. It currently has a scope which I like but my wife don't...so I'd like to get another Mk II like I sold for us to shoot as well. In the mean time, I'm thinking about getting it drilled and tapped for a mount (currently using a B-Square that came with it) and get some quick release mounts. I live approximately 20 miles from Clark's so I think I'll get them to do it. The hard part will be going in their shop and coming out with ONLY my pistol drilled and tapped...

welcome from nevada! lots of fun gun talk here, and great info as well as helpful people when questions come up. one of my net purchases is going to be a ruger mark series. i see you also have a 10/22. nice way to save on ammo for both guns. by the way, folks have been keeping track of the numbers, and it's quite possible you're the 25,000 person to join the forum. you don't win anything for that, but just interesting tidbit. :-) now that i've put that out there somebody will definitely bring it up and either confirm or deny. happy shooting!
