In terms of price, $699 is a little better than average, and about the cheapest from a stocking dealer in this area. At a recent Pt Arthur gun show they were going for $750 - $850, and there were only a very few at those prices. The SR1911 is still a scarce pistol, and demand far exceeds supply.

In another forum, members have purchased them mostly in the low $600 range to $750.

I held it in my hands for about 30 seconds and said "write it up!" I didn't even realize the price until I paid for it - $738 I think it was. Nobody had any then.
