In terms of price, $699 is a little better than average, and about the cheapest from a stocking dealer in this area. At a recent Pt Arthur gun show they were going for $750 - $850, and there were only a very few at those prices. The SR1911 is still a scarce pistol, and demand far exceeds supply.

In another forum, members have purchased them mostly in the low $600 range to $750.

Good luck!

Local Bass Pro was taking full deposits(!) to get on their waiting list for any that came in. I hope you get yours.
It was the Baytown Academy that I saw it at....$699.

AND...I BOUGHT IT today!!!....lol. Hope to get to shoot Thursday morning.

GREAT! As my late grandmother used to say, "Use it in good health!"

I was in the Beaumont Academy today, and they sold out of the SR1911's they had, but now had Remington R1 1911's for the same $699. The SR1911 was much nicer.

I have had my SR1911 for 6 months now, and have not regretted it for a second!
