Greets,
Decided to join 'cause I now own my 2nd Ruger. Hello all you gun clingers!
I have been around some kind of firearm my whole life but got sorta serious back in the late 60's when I was in Kalifornia during my tour in the Navy.
Started with a Blackhawk .357 Mag serial 123818, a Browning 308 lever and a Marlin .444 lever and did some range shooting and handloading. Got my older brother into handloading and he went for the Ruger Super Blackhawk .44 mag. I think he owns four now.
Traded everthing off for photography equipment in the 80's. Got rid of all that in the 90's and had a bunch of down time until after 9-11-01.
Completely re-thought why I wanted to have guns and went for training/qual for CHL and went back to handloading. (the zombies are out there)
Comparing shooting sports to photography is like BOOM? or click?
Now I have the Mini30 because of the potential for heavy bullet (180,200 grain) subsonic handloading but will get adjusted using the steel case 123/124/125 grain lightweights.
May even go suppressed, but like most things firearm related, takes much more money.
Oh... me? old, retired, ex Navy Vietnam Vet, fighting to take America back from the commies/jihadists one email/blog entry at a time. member FirearmsTalk and many conservative blogs and websites.
Thanks for the welcome.
