I am the Chairman of the shooting sports committee for the Jersey Shore Council BSA. We run a year round shooting program for cub scouts, boy scouts and venture scouts in Ocean and Atlantic counties in NJ. I believe that if responsible use of firearms is taught at a young age, it can foster good citizenship and promote our sport.
