| Texas guy sayin' hi
How's it going fellow Ruger "gun nuts". I'm Chris. I like shooting guns, and am an admirer of Rugers, especially Ruger revolvers. I've been on Rugerforum.com for about a year or so. I just recently bought my first (second) Ruger, a GP100. I had a Blackhawk for a few weeks, but unfortunately had to choose between a double action or single action, so I went with the double. I loved the Blackhawk, but decided I want a revolver for my #1 home defense "go to" gun, and DA/SA capability trumped the fun of shooting SA Blackhawks.
My GP100 is so far the best revolver I've ever shot, even better (in my opinion) than the Colt Python I shot a few weeks ago.
Anyway, I live in Houston, go to school full time, worked on deepwater drilling rigs in the GOM for 5 years, like to shoot guns, learning to reload, and have 5 guns currently. 2 Glocks an AR, a 12 guage and my Ruger, GP100. Man I love that gun. Anyway, I'm glad to be here and hope to make all kinda new friends/acquaintances.
