Just wanted to say hello all.
So as of today I am a Ruger owner. Well technically my dad bought me my first rifle a 10/22 as a kid but it was technically his. So I am now officially a Ruger owner. I just purchased a SP101 .22lr and I love it!
Long story short I was always a S&W revolver fan. With the quality control issues they have been having lately they lost me. I bought a 442 that had to go back to smith because it locked up. And then after recently buying the .357 686 that I had been saving for and dreaming about for years that also needed replacement parts, I decided to check out some other companies. I have been wanting a .22 revolver for a while it was going to be a S&W model 63 but went to my local dealer asked me to "take a look" at this Ruger I held it and fell in love. So I traded in my S&W 442 on it and I am now a Ruger man.
I have always like the Mark II and III's and I love the Charger so I think my next purchase will be along those lines. I love the M77 hawkeye compact but really have no need for one right now.
I know that was a little long winded but looking forward to getting to know all of you.

Thanks ALL
LA Gun would love to join the republic of Texas. My company just opened an office in Austin so who knows maybe in the future. For now I am stuck in NY.

What part of NY? I moved out to the gun-loving west from the gun-hating empire state last year. Been out here for a year and love the open carry! Welcome!
