Hello to all new member. Having a problem loading a round into a Ruger P90 DC , Purchased used in Excellent condition, Owner said he only fired less then 20 rounds . I took the pistol apart and noticed some scrapping on the guiderod, could not find any thing else wrong. From reading some post , possiable the gun was not broken in yet, cleaned & oiled . Have not been to the range yet hope to get there soon been getting alot of snow here in NYC.
Also changed guide rod spring with stock spring 11 lbs.
Also gun sat in a safe for 7+ Years.
A followup an My Ruger P90DC , Went to the range yesterday, Went thru fifthy rounds without a problem. When I returned home to clean the Ruger I was unable to remove the slide. Upon further investigation ,I found the trigger spring was up in the slide. I had to remove the grips and pulled down the spring. When I reassembled , I knowest the spring would not stay in the grove. Called Ruger they informed me to send the ruger in for service. has any one else had a problem with this trigger spring.
