Ruger Customer Service.

This is my first post here, but I am no stranger to Ruger Firearms. I've been a fan of Ruger for as long as I can remember. I've owned some really nice Ruger Rifles (one #1 7mag in particular that I really wish I could get back) and have absolutely loved em. I'm a lefty and The 77 lefty models and caliber choices have always been pretty amazing for a lefty. I was really sorry to see the M77 Hawkeye left handed models discontinued, which brings me to my point. For a very long time I have wanted a M77 Hawkeye lefty in 7mm-08, and I recently found one new in the box and bought it sight unseen from an internet seller (Great to deal with by the way) and when my new rifle arrived, it was obvious that the stock checkering machine must have malfunctioned because the checkering on the rifle looked like a 12 year old's first attempt at checkering a rifle stock. Well I found the links to email customer support and even a link to email the CEO, just to let them know that I loved the rifle but was disappointed in the quality of the checkering. Well the next day I must have gotten at least three calls from Ruger, and that day they emailed me a mailing label and told me to get the rifle to them. I did, and in a week I got the rifle back, with a perfectly checkered beautiful walnut stock. This to me is just Old School customer service. I've always been a Ruger fan, but now I'm a satisfied and happy customer for life.

Well Done Ruger!

Had a great experience with their customer service. My LCP had a failed spring - the one that holds the slide retention pin in place. I shipped it to them on Saturday, they called me on Monday to say it was unrepairable, and I picked up my free replacement from the FFL on Friday.

I had a similar experience with my LCRX. empty cases began sticking in the cylinder. I expected them to tell me I needed a new cylinder. Like you, my free replacement was there in less than a week

I have had 3 transactions with Ruger customer service and they all have been great. Each time I called, the response was quick and all was fixed on the first go around. Most impressive.

Welcome!! That seems to be the general consensus. Rugers customer service is unparalleled in the gun industry. I've dealt with them too and have nothing but good things to say!

Welcome from central Ohio.

I've haven't needed support from customer service (though I do use the tech videos), but your story is great to hear; Ruger support for their (lifetime) customers.

Probably one of the reasons Sturm Ruger is number one in U.S. firearms sales (by a fair margin, last time I checked).
