Hello. New to Ruger and the forum. Traded an old Jon boat that I was not using for an AR-15,6.8 SPR. Not much of an ar guy so traded that for my Ruger Prescision Rifle in 308.
Tonight I began the barrel swap to 6.5 Creedmoor from the 308. Rifle shoots good and the best thing is I am able to swap barrels in my shed.

Been shooting long bolt guns for about 3 years seriously now. Own a r mington 700 in a Cadex chassis system. I do a little match shooting in local tournaments more fun than praise type tourneys and I love it.
I now am fully down the rabbit hole, reloading for accuracy and hope to shoot out past 1200 yes this year. Longest distance I have shot is 1,000 yds at a tournament last year here local in the CMP match unlimited class at the old Blackwater facility called Academi with Norfolk County Rifle Range club guys.

Literally having a blast. If u are local to me check them out. Lot of good guys who are serious enough to make it competitive but stay laid back to have fun. Two 1,000 yard matches this summer those are really fun and with the new creedmoor on my shoulder I am looking forward to doing better than ever.

Hope to meet you later this spring-live in Vabch

Welcome, Hey hope to meet you later this spring, as I will be joining that club. I shoot a lot of handguns here at the Beach, but would love to get back into rifle shooting.
