New from Utah

Hey all, my name is Dan and I am new here. I just picked up a Super Redhawk Alaskan in 44 mag, my first Ruger! I bought it for protection while fishing, hiking, camping, etc. I got it last week and have taken it to the range once. Such a great gun! But it does have an issue with the cylinder binding up every few rounds. It seems like it is just one chamber. I may need to send it back to Ruger but hopefully they won't have it too long because I love it! Anyway it's good to be here, hopefully I can learn a lot from you all!

Welcome from Washington, this is a great forum with nice folks and good info. Sadly,I do not have any Ruger wheels guns. It sounds like a timing issue from experience with other revolvers. As far as Ruger customer service is concerned, they are the best. your firearms will be back before you know it as good as new. They are tops in this sort of thing.
