Removing lead from cylinder

Any good ideas on how to remove the lead staining from the sides of a stainless steel cylinder after a long day of shooting? I'm using Hoppe's #9 with a cloth and it's taking a lot of work.
Thanks.

You need a "Lead Away Cloth" Your LGS will have them. They look like those silicone cloths for wiping the dust from your car. They are folded in a plastic bag about 4" x 6" and when unfolded are maybe 15"x 15". They are magic. Oh... one more thing. Only use them on Stainless Steel guns,They will damage the bluing on a blued gun.

I use the above product or I will use a crocus cloth and black powder solvent if really bad.

I don't know what type of stuff in on those Lead Away Cloths but it works, I just recently got one and gave it a try, 2 minutes and every thing looks like brand new. Even smells good.
