In reality, all my guns are seasoned with the stuff. I like it on my rifles and handguns and have never had a friction failure and I shoot aluminum, steel, and pot metal frames and slides, etc. Ballistol does a great job.
what you lubing in the outhouse? There's doctors for that sort of thing

You can find stores/dealers that officially house and sell Ballistol with Ballistol's store locator site online.

We are a supplier of Ballistol and carry all the sizes and wipes. We would love to have your business and always keep it in stock.
Heintz Sales

We also sell on Amazon and Ebay if you are familiar with those platforms. You can purchase it straight from us free of shipping charge.

I've been buying my Balistol on Amazon Prime. Next time I order I'll look for your store.

Must be me, but I have used Balistol for cleaning black powder. Long time storage I got specs of rust, it is water soluble so moisture can penetrate. Still clean with it, but it is back to a light oil, or JPW for storage. I have left my guns in the safe for a year using JPW, and oil with no rust. Including a 51 Navy that I left in the white polished with JPW.

Ballistol in CAS

Ballistol is one of the favorites among Cowboy Action Shooters, particularly those who shoot on the Dark Side. I don't care for the smell but it is a good lubricant.

My 2 cents ... last week i spent 4 hours over 2 days cleaning my handguns. The toughest part was removing the carbon buildup on the feed ramps. Hoppes #9 didn't cut it. I normally use an organic cleaner from Bore Tech and with that i had to let it soak for a few minutes. Ballistol cut right thru it. However a fellow member (a retired gunsmith) informed me Hoppes Elite is the stuff to use. I haven't tried it yet but soon.

After years of Hoppee's #9 and remoil. My wife finally nagged me in to changing, she has hates the smell of Hopee's and I tried Ballistol after seeing Hickok45 use it on youtube, it seems to work as he says and the garage doesn't stick for days after I go to the range. It cleans well (but my guns get cleaned after every range visit) and even living in a moist environment, I see no rust on them.
