| Hoppe's M-Pro 7 Products
I've been wondering about what gun cleaners and lubes might be best for my guns with polymer frames. There seems to be a whole lot of info on the web and like everything else on the web, all opinions point in different directions.
When I bought my SR9c, I also ended up buying the Hoppe's M-Pro 7 Tactical Cleaning Kit which contains M-Pro 7 Gun Cleaner and M-Pro 7 Cleaner Lubricant Protectant as well as a copper remover, rods, brushes, etc.
The Hoppe's cleaners are claimed to be polymer safe and they do clean well. I haven't experienced any problems so far, but I am curious if anybody out here in Rugerland has had much experience using these products. I'd like to know if plastic and polymer parts are unharmed by long-term exposure to these chemicals. This would also include the rubber Hogue grip on my GP100 and the plastic bits on my Colt AR-15.
Any info (good or bad on the Hoppe's M-Pro 7 products) would be welcome. Thanks.

I use Pro7 on my Ruger SR-556FB and it has not created any problems for me.

I really like both Hoppes M Pro 7 cleaner and M Pro 7 gun lubricant. I don't think that you will go wrong with either.

Been using Mpro7 for some time now.I like it especially for cleaning inside because of the no smell or less smell. But be advised you need to lub your gun very well after using the cleaner as it does a very good job of cleaning.
I have cleaned a gun with Hoppies #9 ,scrubbed really good then went back with Mpro7 and got more gunk out. Go figure.
