Awards Showcase

I use the 8 oz (non-spray) can. Usually from Brownells or Midway. It is currently on sale (til 11/30) at Midway for $7.49 (vice 9.49).

Brownells has a combo deal with a can of Kroil plus a jar of J&B bore cleaner - a combination I have found to work well for barrel cleaning.

Unlike many products out there, you can buy it factory direct. It is not always cheapest this way but the costs are reasonable and they are consistent. If you are willing to take the time, you can find some good internet deals depending on the size and type you order but the best deals are not always at the same place as when you last ordered it. I buy the non-aerosol type in 8 oz. Size and I buy it direct. So, for another option, try this site:

I am lucky enough to have several options for purchasing Kano products.

First, check out your local gun store. They might have their products and its always nice to keep money local.

If that fails, there is always MidwayUSA or ordering direct from Kano.

Brownells, Midway, some gun stores, at the bigger gun shows, I try to avoid online shipping because it is a hazdarous chemical or something and the shipping can cost more than the kroil itself.

Once you buy from Kanolabs they will send you fliers with deals, usually buy one get one free. I get mailers from them a couple times a year as I made a purchase 2 or 3 years back.
Quite a while back Midway had a deal on the squeeze cans, about 4oz or so for $2 and I purchased plenty

Like BronxBoy, I always bought Kroil directly from Kano Labs. AeroKroil, SiliKroil, and even Penephite were items I always had on-hand, usually in some quantity. Since closing the farm, I no longer have much use for the stuff, but if you do have a use for it, I recommend direct purchase.

Caution, do not transfer Kroil to your own pump container. I have done this three times in two different types of container. All three times the sprayers locked up with a rust looking substance that reacted to something inside the sprayer. I have no idea??? I called the company and they wanted me to talk to the owner but he was out of town. I have not called him back yet. The parts inside were both metal and plastic. Locked tight but I don't understand why.
