| CLP Products For Cleaning?
What do you think of the all in one products to clean and oil your handguns? I am referring to the Clean Lubricate & Protect fluids that are for sale.

I used to be a fan of using a CLP for all my cleaning, but lately, I've been experimenting with a separate bore cleaner and a CLP for everything else.
I use Slip 2000 and I'm pleased with the results, but it's doesn't work as quickly as other products for taking out lead from the bore. I do use it everywhere else. I have a bottle of Hoppe's #9 for the barrel.

Welcome to the forum metweezer! Don't mean to be rude or anything but this question/topic has been posted many, many times. Try using the search function and enter CLP. You will get a lot of posts that talk of this subject.
My suggestion is too just use Eezox. It's imho the best CLP. But I do use Breakfree on my AR's bolt assembly.

I don't think any CLP will clean as effectively as a dedicated bore solvent.

I use G96 CLP for light cleaning, like when I clean my carry gun. If I shoot it though, I use a dedicated bore solvent.

I've used nothing but Eesox for 3 years on my GP-100 and SP-101 and they're spotless and protected. I am at the range at least twice a month too, shooting lead reloads and jacketed hollow points. Have never had a jam or any other problem.

Another CLP on the market is called WeaponShield. If you go to Pennsylvania Firearm Owners Association and do a search, you will find a thread that tells you how to get a sample (2 oz bottle). I started using it and won't use anything else anymore (except if I have a heavy copper build up, then I use Montana Extreme 50 BMG formula).
