Used it to cast my chamber in my Longbranch worked. Been a while since I used it so I am reluctant to give advice from memory. I do remember using my cleaning rod with a cloth plug to cast the chamber.
Not much help I am afraid.

I have used it several times for chamber castings on military firearms that came in different rounds. Like 6.5x54 vs 6.5x55 since several rifles have come in both calibers.

I've used it to machine (non-firearm related) parts in an industrial setting. As a fixture for complexly-shaped parts. It does not shrink upon cooling, melts at a low temp, and doesn't kill you if you don't eat it.

That's a cool video! I haven't used it, but now I would like to learn more and try it. Thanks for sharing this!
