I've got 10 Promag 32 round mags that are brand new and was debating on whether or not I should sell them. I'm just curious to what similar mags were selling for during the first ban. I wondering if I should cash out now or hang on to them for if they do pass a ban.

For my part, I like the BX-25s I have, so even if I had extras, I'd hold onto them since they will be hard to get in the future if the ban passes. Not to make more money then but because I want to be able to use them.

I have Ramline 30 rounders, and Butler Creek 25s from the late 1980s. I think they were about $15

Like weblance said, the Ramline's went for between $15.99 and $19.99 respectively in the late 80's & early 90's. I'd personally hold on to them unless you have no need for them. You won't be able to get much for them yet anyhow as they are still avaliable and legal.

As a side note... I always liked the RamLine 30s. They are a double stack and are shorter than the 25 round single stack mags that are the norm today. I never had any function problems with the 30s. I bought 2 of them because they can be "jungle Clipped" together. Add the fact they are translucent, and I thought they were a winner. Heres a 30 round RamLine hanging out of my Charger. |

I purchased a few ramline and also a few eagle mags from walmart for around $12 each in 92 or early 93. The eagles didn't last and ended up tossing them after a few years for failure to feed, still have the others. I remember seeing these mags going for $150 each in the original box at gun shows in 1999. I also had a few butler creek mags I believe were 25 round from before the 94 awb. They were all selling for unobtainium during the previous ban " if you could locate them". In retrospect I also had( still have) a factory 30 round ruger mini 14 magazine non LEO stamped from before the ban, during the ban I was offered $200 for it, during that time Factory ruger magazines were the holy grail, and widely sought after since not many were in civilian hands, or so I was told.
