Question HC3R Mags has anyone tried one?

Hi all I went into our local Gun Store today and I saw a display of the HC3R magazines for a Ruger 10/22 they had them priced at $39.95 which is considerably less then what a forum member has them priced here on the Ruger Forum. I checked the online price they are $39.95 + shipping so with tax I still paid $42.00. Seems like a good sturdy constructed magazine just wondering if any of you guys have tried one! I could have bought more but I already have a decent supply of magazines now for my 10/22 just wondering thanks in advance!!

None were available local so I ordered one last night online. Hoping they are good since I have never touched or know anyone who has.

Yes, I have several and they are fantastic.
Just watch the videos at their website -> http://rugerforum.net/ruger-10-22-ri...-magazine.html
and make sure you get the top round at the correct angle and they are 100% reliable.

Speed Loader

They have Speed Loader for these mags now.
Check out the Demo Video here: https://www.hcmags.com/
I hope they start the production soon.

Just ordered 3 from Botach - free shipping - $105.

Tried to order the spare stripper clips and speed loader box directly from HC3R since I cannot find them elsewhere - and ran into their no ship to Ohio for magazines that hold more than 25 rounds - which I don't think these qualify - but besides, every reference I have found to magazine limits in Ohio laws specifically exempts .22

Looking forward to trying them - stock 10 round rotary works fine - Butler Creek Steel Lips 25 round had some initial break in issues but last trip out had 3 misfeeds out of 100 across two mags. Champion double stock 30 round are basically worthless - hard to get into the gun and even harder to get out and nearly impossible to load and even more trouble unloading.

Brownells will ship the HC3R to Ohio. The Champion magazines need a little tweaking to fit into the magwell of the 10/22. I had to file down the length og the large pin on one, and the small pin on another. They function fine for me after that.

I got my HC3R magazine today. Hope to try it out tomorrow. Brownells has the 3 pack of extra stripper clips available, but not the speed loader... yet.
