70Dart340 is on a distinguished road
Costco has safes for good prices, and in my state(WA), they don't charge sales tax.

The folks are correct. You almost cant seem to buy one big enough.

And after watching reviews on breaking into them,, most safes are only made to keep honest people honest. ALOT of safes can be broken into in a few minutes.

When our son showed us how easy it was to break into the 24 gun safe I had, We went and bought a 54 gun Browning Beast. Got a heckuva deal for $1600.

Now the old safe is an ammo locker.

And the 54 gun is now full. Alot more than just guns in there since its got a really good fire rating.

My wife is starting to get her own long guns now and with my sons the 48 (means 24 as some said) safe is packed as well as a 16 so it looks like another safe is in order. I notice every year around Thanks Giving Tractor supply gives a deep discount on Cannon safes, like last year a 60 gun wide body for about a $1000 with electronic lock 110 outlet as well as a phone/internet connection.
I like the electronic over dial after using one.

Absolutely! The idea is to have a safe that takes so long to break into and creates so much noise in the process that it discourages the thieves and/or reveals their efforts resulting in termination of the effort.

Fire protection is another concern, also probably price-related.

Inexpensive "safes" or locking cabinets can serve to prevent access to children or other "friendlies" if that's your goal.

Exactly, you can slow a thief down, but you can't stop him.People are taken ATM machines these days, hooking them up to chains and trucks pulling them through glass doors in liquor stores in my city.

Well my son and I went and picked up my 16 gun safe,he an I could handle it ourselves. And save $ 300.00 +. They wanted $ 129.00 to deliver this one,yes I know everyone had to make a living. And I also realized,at 67 years old,I needed to stop being lazy,I still got it in me to do lots of physical things before I leave this world.
