Hey guys, I've got a 2 yr old son, almost 3, and needed a safe large enough to lock everything up. I didn't want to rely on locking plastic cases for my son's safety. I did a lot of looking locally for a good safe, but couldn't find any that were combination rifle/pistol safes, affordable, attractive, and seemed like a high quality, good safe. I ended up taking a risk and going to ebay, and I'm glad I did. I got this safe from United Safes Corporation for $609.00, shipped to my door. I'm very impressed with it's quality and finish. The only problem I had was the included hardware to secure it to the floor didn't seem to match well with the nuts that were welded into the floor of the safe. I ended up overtorquing one of them and busted the weld that held the nut onto the safe. I ended up just using a larger bolt and a large washer to secure it. Here's the pics - thought I'd share a recommendation for anyone struggling on the decision / safe search. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Even came w/ a dehumidifier. |

Looks like a nice safe, I do hate it when you fellas show your safes though cos you can have all the cool stuff that was stolen off us back in 96. ![]() A safe like that here would cost about 3 x as much! |
